Product Description

NEOMOD® 63 rheology modifier is a 100% active blend of fatty acids used to increase low end rheology while providing suspension and hole cleaning capacities in invert emulsion drilling fluids. It is highly effective in improving the 3 rpm and 6rmp readings of oil-based drilling fluid without increasing the plastic viscosity. NEOMOD® 63 is specially used in extended-reach, horizontal and highly deviated wells. NEOMOD® 63 is effective in a wide range of oil/water ratio and stable at temperatures above 400°F.

  • Increases low-shear rate rheological in oil-based drilling fluids without increasing plastic viscosity
  • Specially used in extended-reach, horizontal and highly deviated wells to reduce barite sag
  • Provides secondary emulsification of oil-based fluids
